Teaching again in NYC

As many of you know already, I am starting up a Sunday Kung-Fu class in Manhattan, at 440 Lafayette Street, Suite 4C. The class will start on October 19, 2008 and it will be from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. The interesting thing about this is that I was teaching there with one of my classmates (David Ross) and my late teacher (Grandmaster Chan Tai-San) almost 20 years ago. I'm feeling a bit of nostaglia as I feel like I'm going back in a time machine. It should be cool though, the only things that I'm not as excited about is the commute and the NYC wackos that Kung-Fu/Martial Arts always seem to attract. That being said, I'll keep you posted as what strange events may occur...

Grandmaster Chan Tai-San with Me and my classmate Chris Jurak (squatting). This was in 440 Lafayette Street, circa 1989. It was a year or so before I opened my first school in Mineola.

Wow, look at all the hair I had!
